URAMAP is a participative mapping endeavour aiming at reducing water pollution in rivers, lakes and the oceans by means of a centralised and georeferenced citizen-fed alert system. This pilot project is set in the French Basque country.Water is a common resource from which all life on Earth depends. An healthy environments depends from the quality of its water. URAMAP aims at rising citizen awareness and participation in debates and actions aiming at pretecting water quality.
