The Sustainable Intensification Research Network (SIRN) builds on existing, bottom-up initiatives developed by UK researchers in the agricultural, biological, environmental and social sciences, for better integration of the communities working on Sustainable Intensification (SI).

This network provides a forum for information exchange between researchers, funders and stakeholders, about research capabilities, facilities and resources, training opportunities, funding schemes and user needs that aim to address the challenges posed by SI.

The SI Network is funded by the Biological and Biotechnology Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC).
