While many passionate organizations and individuals focus on reducing carbon emissions, climate goals can only be met by removing the carbon that already exists in our atmosphere. Scientists tell us that we need to drawdown carbon from the air and store it away through natural systems and new technologies.
Some of these solutions, called carbon removal, are already in practice, others are in development, and certainly bigger and brighter innovations are waiting to be discovered. Our goal? To champion these solutions and build an economy that removes more than we emit.
We champion practices and technologies that transform carbon from a liability to an asset. Some solutions harness natural processes to turn carbon into a source of productivity, while others utilize modern technology to turn waste carbon into valuable products. It will take all of these solutions to achieve our goals.
